was recommended to come here by a buddy of mine. When I walked in, I felt like a kid walking into Funko land but even better. the employee who assisted me there was awesome, courteous and professional. I should’ve took his advice and bought the ps vita lmao but hey it’s all good. instead I bought a bunch of cool amiibos. Check this place out if you’re a gamer, especially a retro gamer.

Great Retro Store. They individually wrap each game, and every game I have bought from them has worked great without issue. Never a reproduction or bad condition game without it being specified. There's a wide selection of different consoles from all generations, so you're likely to find something for most systems. Obviously rarer items can be few and far between, but there is still a great selection. On the downside, the consoles and games are a little high BUT, when a reasonably priced game comes along, I feel comfortable paying a little bit extra for the few steps they put in for with quality of purchase (besides the high-ticket items). Check them out!

Nice store with a friendly employee. The games are around ~10% - 15% over Ebay prices which is fair in my opinion since they need to maintain a physical presence somehow. The consoles are very pricey though. For example, a loose GameCube is listed for $129 when one can purchase a CIB GameCube for that price online. Edit: After reading the owners response to my review, I have chosen to demote the review from 3 stars to 1 star. Owners like these are preying on those that don’t do their own research. I recommend people interested in retro games buy from reputable sellers on EBay after examining historical prices via PriceCharting (a website that tracks historical sale prices of retro games). You’ll quickly come to see that the owner has lied to you in his response.

This store oozes nostalgia with shelves upon shelves of vintage games, and synthwave playing over the speakers. The selection is excellent, and prices are close to Ebay. Everything is neat, tidy, and clean. The North Side has been missing a real game store ever since People Play Games shut down, and Retro Dimension fills the void beautifully.
